- F - Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13

Hands up if you remember Bobby (Borris) Picket and the Crypt Kickers - Monster Mash? If you liked that then you're half way to Wednesday 13s crazy world of horror rock. Formed in 1996 and including an ever changing lineup including Rat Bastard , Scabs, R.S. Saidso , Creepy, Syd, Ikky and It (so you've been warned).

This lot are for fans of Alice Cooper and early New York Dolls. The recommended purchase has got to be  Little Box of Horrors a wonderful five disc roundup of pretty much all their releases. Standout tracks? Die my bride, I love to say fuck, The witch is dead, Graverobbing USA, Love at first fright, Kill miss America. If some of these titles are familiar then you've already got the Murderdolls debut that re- recorded some of these. You'll probably then move onto Wedneday 13s solo albums.

Still not convinced? the Little Box also includes a bonus disc of unreleased material incuding excellent covers of Alice Coopers Hello hooray and the Sweets Fox on the run, Iggy Pops I wanna be your dog  and even AC/DC aren't safe with a version of Shoot to thrill.

Not quite ready to indulge in the full horrors? Then put a toe in the water with 6 Years, 6 Feet Under The Influence and Night of the Living Drag Queens

As 'z' is a long way off, for the British version of this madness look out for (or dig up) the wonderful Zombina and the Skeletones.
